Just about every Friday I seem to comment on how quickly the week has gone by, are you in the same “boat?” Where has summer gone? We’re harvesting more and more out of our garden now, canning, freezing and enjoying lots of fresh veggies. We’re also in the midst of switching gears some and starting to focus more on back to school. As I was getting ready for an appointment this week, I thought about makeup. For those of us who wear it, purchasing these products can get expensive. More than once I’ve purchased a cosmetic product only to find out it doesn’t work for me or was the wrong shade, etc. That always makes me unhappy because I see it as wasted money. I’ve now found a natural “mineral” makeup that works well for me but it is not a cheap purchase. Add that to a skin care line that works well for my skin type and we’re talking money flying out the window!

So, what do you use for makeup and skin care that doesn’t leave your budget drained? I’d like to know what frugal things you do when purchasing cosmetic items. Do you use coupons for these?
