My to-do list isn’t shrinking much, is yours? With back-to-school and fall approaching, I’m finding myself with more and more to do before winter arrives. This weekend I’ll be tackling the trim on the exterior of my house and garage as well as replacing my kitchen sink faucet. If you don’t have a handyman in your family to do these things for you, there’s no need to pay someone! These types of things can be accomplished with a little instruction. I checked out a few websites like this one before gathering supplies for the job. I read up on the “how-to” of exterior painting and made a game plan. Now I just need to find the courage to climb the very tall ladder. Yikes!

The next project intimidates me a little more than painting. I consulted this site (and a few others) on replacing my kitchen sink faucet. I’ve had the new one sitting in the box for quite some time now. I’ve read and re-read the instructions many times over and it looks like a “piece of cake” to install. It’s the “what-ifs” that concern me a tad. BUT, this site walked me through the things to look for BEFORE starting the project so I’m feeling more confident now. I will conquer the faucet and let you know how it went (oh yea, and painting too!). Check back to this post in the comments section next week to see how I did.
